1. Scope of these website terms
These terms apply to the use of this website, including any enquiry submitted through the contact form and any request for information about perforated one-way vision film for shopfronts, offices, vehicles and other glazing applications. The site is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of OneWayVision, with services supplied from Montague Gardens, Cape Town and distributed to customers in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria and Gqeberha.
By accessing the site you confirm that you are acting lawfully and that any information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date. If you do not accept these terms, you must stop using the site at once.
2. Enquiries, quotes and order acceptance
All quotations, project scopes and service descriptions are provided subject to final confirmation after site measuring, artwork review, vehicle templating or glass inspection where required. A quotation only becomes binding once it has been accepted in writing and any deposit or payment condition has been met. We reserve the right to decline work that cannot be completed safely or lawfully.
- Enquiry submissions must reflect the correct company name, contact person and installation site.
- Artwork, sizes and quantities supplied by the client remain the client’s responsibility unless formally checked and approved.
- Lead times may vary according to print queue, stock availability, dispatch routes and access to the installation site.
3. Use of one-way vision film and installation limits
Glass and vehicle windows commonly use perforated one-way vision film to show printed graphics outside while keeping outward visibility from inside during daylight. The exact perforation ratio, adhesive type, lamination choice and print method must suit the application, whether it is a shopfront in Bellville, a fleet vehicle in Pretoria or a display window in Durban. Coastal humidity, dust, heat and frequent cleaning can all affect performance and the correct surface preparation is essential.
Vehicle window film must always be fitted so that the driver’s view remains legal. Customers should check the current South African road traffic rules before approving a design, because lawful visibility requirements may change and the responsibility for compliance remains with the vehicle owner or operator. We do not accept liability for unlawful use, over-tinted coverage or any design that blocks safe driving sight lines.
4. Artwork, colour and production standards
Artwork supplied for printing should be in a suitable format with correct dimensions, bleed and safe areas. Where needed, colour proofing may be requested before print production starts, especially for branded glass panels, directional graphics or full-coverage vehicle windows. Minor colour shifts can occur between screen display, proof and final output, and these may also vary with lighting, glazing type and lamination finish.
- We may adjust file layout to suit window shape, handle cut-outs, wiper paths or fitted trims.
- Printed output on perforated film may appear different from solid vinyl because the perforations affect density and visibility.
- Changes requested after approval may delay production and can attract extra cost.
5. Dispatch, site access and installation conditions
For site work, the client must provide reasonable access, clean surfaces and suitable working conditions. Old film removal, surface preparation and refit work may be needed before new film can be applied, and this may expose existing paint, sealant or glazing defects. Where access is restricted, or where municipal rules, security procedures or building management rules affect entry, installation may need to be rescheduled.
Nationwide dispatch is arranged to support customers across South Africa but delivery times are estimates only. If an installation cannot proceed because of rain, extreme heat, broken glass, unsafe surroundings or unpaid balances, the appointment may be postponed. We make every practical effort to complete the job, but timing is sometimes affected by conditions outside our control.
6. Content ownership, acceptable use and legal notices
All text, layouts, photographs, diagrams and downloadable material on this site remain the property of the relevant rights holder and may not be copied, altered or reused without written permission. You may not use the site to send false enquiries, interfere with operations, attempt unauthorised access or misuse any content for unlawful purposes. Any trade marks or names shown belong to their respective owners.
- Nothing on this website creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship unless agreed in writing.
- We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will apply when you use the site.
- If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
