Why people join our team

OneWayVision is built around careful work, clear communication and getting the detail right first time. Our projects involve perforated one way vision film for glass and vehicle windows, so every step matters from artwork setup to final installation. If you like work that is hands on and gives a visible result at the end of the day, you will fit in well.

It is steady work, and the pace can change depending on whether we are doing a shopfront in Bellville or a vehicle fitment in Pretoria.

Roles we hire for

We bring people in for technical, creative and customer facing roles as the business grows. Some positions are based in the production area in Montague Gardens, while others support sales, planning or installations across the regions we supply.

  • Print production and wide format work
  • Film lamination and surface preparation
  • Glass installation and vehicle installation
  • Vehicle templating and old film removal
  • Artwork setup and colour proofing
  • Customer support and enquiry handling

Depending on the role, you may work in the workshop, on site, or both. We need people who can follow instructions, keep tools and work areas tidy, and communicate clearly with customers and the rest of the team.

What the work involves day to day

Perforated one way vision film needs proper preparation and careful application. That means cleaning the glass, checking sizing, preparing print files, and making sure the finished film sits neatly on the window or vehicle glass. On shopfronts, the graphic faces outward while the perforation allows visibility from inside. On vehicles, we make sure the film is placed with the legal viewing area in mind so the driver view remains compliant, and the current road traffic rules should always be checked before fitting any film to a vehicle.

You may also help with refits and refresh work where old film must be removed before new material goes on. It can be fiddly, especially when old adhesive has been sitting in the sun. That is part of the job and it teaches patience, which is useful in this trade.

Skills and attitude that matter here

We value practical thinking, accuracy and a calm approach when things are busy. A lot of our work is custom, so no two jobs are exactly the same. If you can measure properly, ask the right questions and spot small issues before they become problems, you will do well.

  • Comfortable working with glass, vinyl and printed film
  • Good attention to detail on measurements and alignment
  • Ability to work with a team or independently
  • Willingness to learn site procedures and safe handling practices
  • Clear communication with clients and fellow staff

We also appreciate people who understand that a good installation starts long before the film reaches the site. Proper artwork, proofing and prep save time later, and they help keep the job looking clean and professional. Small mistakes cost time, so we try not to make them, but nobody gets it perfect every single time.

How to apply for future opportunities

We do not list open vacancies. If you would like to be considered for future opportunities, send your CV through the enquiry form on our contact page and mention the kind of work you are interested in. You can note whether you are looking for production, installation, sales support or vehicle graphics work.

It helps to include your location, any relevant experience and the type of projects you have worked on before. We review enquiries as they come in and keep suitable applicants on file for when the right role opens up. If your background matches what we need, we will get in touch.

Working from Montague Gardens and beyond

Our base in Montague Gardens, Cape Town gives us access to the city, the northern suburbs and the main routes for dispatch across the country. We also support supply and project work into Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria and Gqeberha, so some roles may involve coordination with teams and clients in other areas.

That makes the work varied. One week you could be helping with a shopfront supply in Milnerton, the next week with vehicle graphics for a customer in Durban. If you enjoy a job that changes with the order book, and you are comfortable with practical deadlines, this could be a good fit.
