How We Help Before Any Film Is Printed

Good results start with the right measurements and the right glass. We assist with site measuring for shopfronts, offices and fleet vehicles, then confirm the glass size, sight lines, frame depth and any obstacles like handles, heating wires or tint on the pane. For vehicles, we also check the window type and viewing area so the final layout suits the vehicle and the job at hand.

Where needed, we help with vehicle templating, artwork setup and colour proofing before printing starts. That keeps graphics aligned to the window shape and reduces surprises during fitting, especially on curved rear windows and doors. It also helps when a site has old vinyl still on the glass or a surface that needs proper prep first.

Printing, Perforation And Lamination Support

Its hole pattern allows perforated one-way vision film to show artwork on the outside while someone inside can still see out. Common perforation ratios include 70/30, 60/40 and 50/50, with the best choice depending on how much outside graphic coverage and inside visibility is needed. A tighter pattern gives more print area, while a more open pattern can help with visibility from inside.

We support wide format printing for shopfront and vehicle use, then follow with film lamination where required. Lamination can add surface protection against scuffing, cleaning, UV exposure and day to day handling. In coastal areas like Cape Town and Gqeberha, that extra protection is often useful because humidity and salt in the air can be harder on exposed graphics.

Installation For Glass, Shopfronts And Vehicles

Glass installation and vehicle installation are handled with care so the film lays flat and edges stay neat. Surface preparation is important, especially on dusty shopfronts in Montague Gardens or on vehicles that have road grime, wax or residue. We clean, dry and prepare the surface properly before applying the film, which helps the adhesive grip as it should.

  • Shopfront glass, doors and internal partitions
  • Rear and side vehicle windows
  • Short term promotion or longer term branding
  • Old film removal and refit and refresh work

We also make sure fitment suits the site rules and access conditions, including working around trading hours, security grilles and municipal requirements where relevant. In a few cases a small adjustment is needed on site, so we keep the process practical and tidy.

Vehicle Use And Legal Visibility Checks

For vehicle windows, the driver must keep a legal view of the road. That means the film choice, perforation ratio and placement must suit current road traffic rules and any roadworthy or licensing requirements that apply. If the rear window or side windows affect visibility, we advise clients to check the latest regulations before fitting. It is better to confirm than to guess.

We can help plan graphics for service vans, bakkies and fleets without compromising the key viewing areas. That includes deciding where to carry branding, where to leave clear sight lines, and how to handle rear window heating elements. The aim is a clean finish that works on the road and in daily use, not just on paper.
