Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how OneWayVision, operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, gathers, uses, keeps and protects personal information in line with POPIA. It applies to enquiries, quotes, site visits, measuring, printing, installation and after-sales support.

This policy applies when you submit an enquiry through our contact form, request a quote, ask for site measuring or vehicle templating, place an order, or deal with our team for printing, lamination, installation or after-sales support.

For purposes of POPIA, the responsible party is Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, trading as OneWayVision. We only process personal information that is needed for business communication, service delivery, compliance and record keeping.

These parties may only use the information for the task we assign and must treat it as confidential.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, including to government bodies, regulators or a court. If you ask us to liaise with a sign writer, fleet manager, landlord or building manager, we may share only the details needed to complete the request.

Storage, protection and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and alteration. Access is limited to staff who need the information to do their work, including sales, production, installations and customer support.

Your rights under POPIA

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate details, object to certain processing where allowed by law, or request deletion where we are not required to keep the record. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis for processing.

Vehicle window film, legal use and external links

On glass and vehicle windows, perforated one-way vision film is often used for printed branding while still allowing outward visibility from inside. On vehicles, the film must always keep the driver view legal and compliant with current road traffic rules. Please check the latest requirements before approving or installing any rear or side window film on a vehicle.

Our website may include links or references to services relevant to shopfronts, vehicle graphics and installation. If you follow a link to another site, that site will have its own privacy terms and we are not responsible for how it handles personal information.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we process your information, please use the enquiry form on our contact page and our team will assist.
